The National Fire Protection Association (NFPA) recommends that an inspection of all Chimneys, Vents, and Fireplaces be performed annually for soundness, freedom from deposits, and correct clearances. During the burn season, your chimney can be exposed to a wide range of temperatures and harsh season conditions. The NFPA further recommends that Cleaning and Maintenance and repairs shall be done if necessary. An Annual Inspection and Chimney Sweep is an easy way to ensure the system is free of any blockages and meets the minimum acceptable levels of chimney safety.
